Our Story

Wellers Hill Medical Centre is a long-established group general practice located in an inner-city suburb of Brisbane. Operating continuously since 1961, the practice provides comprehensive medical care five days a week, with additional Saturday morning appointments.

Our practice is home to 14 independent medical practitioners, supported by a second-year registrar and two first-year registrars. The clinical team is complemented by a highly skilled support staff, including a full-time Practice Manager, full-time Office Manager, a full-time Nurse Unit Manager, five registered nurses, two chronic disease nurses, and ten reception staff, ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the Centre.

The Centre has undergone significant renovations in 2001 and again in 2018–2019, resulting in enhanced parking and accessibility, particularly for patients with disabilities, as well as expanded waiting areas, improved administrative and treatment spaces, and additional modernised consulting rooms. These upgrades support our commitment to delivering care within a contemporary, well-equipped, and efficiently staffed clinical environment.

The doctors consulting from Wellers Hill Medical Centre offer a broad range of expertise, with special interests in sports medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, and dermatology. Patient health records are securely managed using Best Practice clinical software.
