Our Registrars

Did you know Wellers Hill Medical Centre is a GPTQ accredited training practice? We are committed to training GP registrars in both their first year and second year of training.

Our registrars are fully qualified medical Doctors who are undertaking advanced training in General Practice. The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners requires aspiring General Practitioners to complete an advanced GP training program. Over at least two years, GP Registrars attend placements at up to four different medical practices. At Wellers Hill Medical Centre, they have an opportunity to work in a highly functioning, and supportive environment that focuses on all aspects of general practice.

Our registrars are closely supervised in all aspects of their clinical work by our GPTQ accredited supervisors, Dr Nicholas Gianarakis and Dr Timothy Copland and at times may ask them to assist in your consultation for their knowledge and advice in your health care.

Our current registrars are Dr Julia Rollston, Dr Vijay Maraj, Dr Matthew King and Dr Kim Le.
