From today we have teamed with HotDoc to bring you a better health care experience.
It will now be even easier for you to make, reschedule or cancel online appointments with us anytime, anywhere.
Simply download the HotDoc app on your phone through the App Store or Google Play and set up your account. You can also set up an account through an internet browser if you prefer. Bookings can still be made directly through our website.
Appointment reminders will come through as an SMS 24 hours before your appointment, simply click on the link to confirm, cancel, or reschedule your appointment. Alternatively, you can reply YES or NO to this message.
The way we conduct telehealth (video) consultations has also changed. This will now be done through HotDoc.
The link to the video call will be provided to you though your booking confirmation email (if booked online), the appointments tab in the mobile/web app (if you have this set up) and/or via the appointment reminder that will be sent to you via SMS.
There will be more changes coming, so stay tuned and we will inform you of these as they happen.

With the increase in COVID-19 transmission within the community, we will be making the following changes to protect our Doctors, staff and most importantly our patients.
10th December, 2021
In line with the Queensland border reopening, Wellers Hill Medical Centre will be implementing the following changes as of Monday 13th December 2021.
We will continue operating for all face-to-face consultations for non-symptomatic patients.
It will be a condition of entry that face masks are to be worn at all times while inside the practice, including in the Doctors room. This is to protect you, other patients, in particular those who may be more vulnerable, as well as our reception, nursing and medical staff.
We also ask that you attend appointments alone if possible or with one other person, maintain social distancing where possible and maintain proper hand hygiene practices.
For patients who have ANY of the symptoms below, a telehealth consultation will be required first if you have not had a negative COVID test in the past 3 days.
If you have had a negative COVID test in the past 3 days and still have ANY of the symptoms below, telehealth consultations are still preferred however, you can request a face-to-face consultation in our respiratory clinic (proof of negative result will required).
- Sore Throat
- Shortness of Breath
- Vomiting or Nausea
- Loss of Smell and/or Taste
We thank you for your cooperation and appreciate your understanding, honesty and respect during these times.
